A dupla brasileira de finalistas deste quarto dia de finais em Fukuoka terminou na mesma coloca\u00e7\u00e3o em suas respectivas provas. Guilherme Costa ficou na s\u00e9tima coloca\u00e7\u00e3o nos 800m livre e Jo\u00e3o Gomes J\u00fanior foi o s\u00e9timo colocado nos 50m peito. Outro brasileiro em a\u00e7\u00e3o foi Guilherme Carib\u00e9 que terminou em 12\u00ba lugar na semifinal dos 100m livre, apenas dez cent\u00e9simos de entrar na final da prova. O dia teve ainda um hist\u00f3rico recorde mundial da australiana Mollie O’Callaghan nos 200m livre, uma fort\u00edssima final nos 800m livre masculino e mais um show do franc\u00eas Leon Marchand. Final dos 800m livre masculino<\/strong>
\nGuilherme Costa nadou mais uma final de 800m livre em sua carreira. E que final, uma das fortes de todos os tempos. Afinal foram tr\u00eas recordes continentais. O Cachorr\u00e3o teve uma grande performance, mas n\u00e3o melhorou seu tempo, terminando em 7\u00ba lugar com o tempo 7min47s26. Sobre os recordes, foram tr\u00eas continentais: o da Oceania com Sam Short (7min37s76), que lhe rendeu a medalha de prata, o das Am\u00e9ricas com Bobby Finke (7min38s67), que lhe deu o bronze e o da Europa com Daniel Wiffen (7min39s19), quarto colocado. O campe\u00e3o foi Ahmed Hafnaoui com 7min37s00, marca que n\u00e3o supera o recorde africano de Oussama Meloulli, mas d\u00e1 ao tunisiano seu primeiro ouro em Mundiais. \nA australiana Mollie O’Callaghan superou uma das maiores marcas mundiais de todos os tempos nas finais de hoje. Com 1min52s85 ela bateu o incr\u00edvel recorde de Federica Pellegrini, 1min52s98, que vigorava desde 2009. Mollie nadou forte do in\u00edcio ao fim, mas o forte fim de prova foi essencial para desbancar sua compatriota Ariante Titmus e estabelecer o novo recorde mundial. Titmus terminou com a prata ao nadar para 1min53s01, quase rompendo a casa do 1min53s. O bronze ficou com a canadense Summer McIntosh com novo recorde mundial j\u00fanior com 1min53s65. O brasilerio nadou bem e marcou 48s18, ficando em 12\u00ba lugar e a dez cent\u00e9simos de uma vaga na final. O oitavo colocado foi o americano Jack Alexy com 48s08. Entre eles ficou Diogo Ribeiro. \nMelhor tempo da semifinal ficou com a americana Regan Smith, que n\u00e3o s\u00f3 fez o melhor tempo com 27s10, como tamb\u00e9m bateu o recorde das Am\u00e9ricas e se coloca como a grande favorita a medalha de ouro na final de amanh\u00e3. A argentina Andrea Berrino ficou em 16\u00ba lugar nadando apenas dez centpesimos acima do seu tempo das eliminat\u00f3rias marcando 28s34. \nGrande performance do franc\u00eas Leon Marchand, dominando por completo a prova e obtendo sua segunda medalha de ouro em Fukuoka. A nova estrela francesa triunfou hoje com 1min52s43, marca que o deixa como o terceiro mais r\u00e1pido da hist\u00f3ria, atr\u00e1s apenas de Michael Phelps e do atual recordista mundial Kristof Milak. \nJo\u00e3o Gomes J\u00faniir voltou a nadar mais uma vez na casa de 26 segundos, mas com 26s97 terminou na s\u00e9tima coloca\u00e7\u00e3o. O brasileiro esteve no bolo dos atletas durante boa parte do percurso, mas como ele mesmo afirmou em entrevista p\u00f3s-prova, deu uma pequena vacilada no final e acabou perdendo cent\u00e9simos importantes, mesmo assim Jo\u00e3o fez um bom Mundial em Fukuoka. O ouro ficou com o chin\u00eas Haiyang Qin, que mais uma vez foi para o lugar mais alto do p\u00f3dio com 26s29.
