Ambos vieram para a consulta por dores na regi\u00e3o lombar, ambos s\u00e3o nadadores master de \u00e1guas abertas e ambos trabalham com tecnologia da informa\u00e7\u00e3o, o que significa que a rotina deles \u00e9 composta por horas sentados em frente ao computador. Esse tipo de situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 bastante comum na rotina da cl\u00ednica.<\/p>\n<p>Muitas vezes esses nadadores chegam com uma ideia preconcebida de que a postura em que se sentam para trabalhar \u00e9 errada e, por isso, sentem dores. Hoje em dia sabemos que isso n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o simples. Muito se fala sobre a postura e a exist\u00eancia de um padr\u00e3o postural no qual todos deveriam encaixar-se para n\u00e3o sentir dores nas costas. Acontece que n\u00e3o existe esse padr\u00e3o. Atualmente a postura considerada correta \u00e9 mais flu\u00edda, respeitando a individualidade de cada corpo.\u00a0Por isso, sempre costumo dizer para meus pacientes que o grande problema n\u00e3o \u00e9 o &#8220;como&#8221; ele se senta, mas o &#8220;quanto&#8221; ele se senta, ou seja, o tempo de perman\u00eancia sentado \u00e9 um fator mais prejudicial do que a forma de sentar-se.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60083\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60083\" style=\"width: 1058px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60083\" src=\"https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/25_plgNewsPoster.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1058\" height=\"630\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/25_plgNewsPoster.jpg 1058w, https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/25_plgNewsPoster-302x180.jpg 302w, https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/25_plgNewsPoster-768x457.jpg 768w, https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/25_plgNewsPoster-750x447.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1058px) 100vw, 1058px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60083\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Postura do nadador &#8211; Foto: Reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Longos per\u00edodos na posi\u00e7\u00e3o sentada causam encurtamentos musculares de m\u00fasculos na regi\u00e3o anterior do corpo. Do ponto de vista mec\u00e2nico isso exerce uma sobrecarga em m\u00fasculos posteriores e podem estar relacionados com o surgimento de dores na regi\u00e3o mais baixa da coluna.<\/p>\n<p>No caso dos nadadores isso \u00e9 ainda pior pois, o encurtamento muscular prejudica a posi\u00e7\u00e3o de nado. A tend\u00eancia \u00e9 que as pernas fiquem mais baixas em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao tronco e o nadador assuma uma postura quase diagonal na \u00e1gua. Isso aumenta o arrasto e consequentemente aumenta o gasto energ\u00e9tico, ou seja fica mais desgastante nadar. Al\u00e9m disso, pode haver sobrecarga sobre as articula\u00e7\u00f5es dos ombros, gerando dores nesta regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Portanto, para evitar esses efeitos prejudiciais do encurtamento muscular \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que o atleta trabalhe a mobilidade da coluna, do quadril e da p\u00e9lvis.
