Por\u00e9m, engana-se que pense que esse ser\u00e1 apenas mais um evento para cumprir tabela antes das f\u00e9rias de fim de ano chegar. Estar\u00e1 em jogo al\u00e9m de medalhas e t\u00edtulos nacionais algo muito mais importante: vagas para os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos do Rio de Janeiro. Desta vez teremos apenas duas seletivas: o Open da semana que vem e o Trof\u00e9u Maria Lenk em abril do ano que vem. S\u00e3o apenas duas oportunidades para os nadadores integrarem o t\u00e3o cobi\u00e7ado time ol\u00edmpico.<\/p>\n<p>Disputado pela primeira vez em 2005, o Torneio Open ser\u00e1 pela terceira vez uma seletiva ol\u00edmpica. Nas duas vezes anteriores, em 2007 e 2011, assistimos a apenas seis \u00edndices para os Jogos de Pequim e Londres, respectivamente. O motivo para t\u00e3o poucas marcas se dava pelo fato de haverem diversas seletivas ao longo do ciclo ol\u00edmpico, que come\u00e7avam muitas vezes com mais de um ano de anteced\u00eancia para a Olimp\u00edada. Para Pequim os atletas tiveram sete tentativas para se classificar e para Londres o n\u00famero subiu para nove oportunidades. Mas voc\u00ea se lembra de como foram essas duas edi\u00e7\u00f5es do Open pr\u00e9-Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos? Relembramos abaixo.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2007 a competi\u00e7\u00e3o foi a quarta das sete seletivas para os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos de Pequim-2008. Por\u00e9m o campeonato de encerramento da temporada, disputado na piscina do Esporte Cube Pinheiros, assistiu a apenas um \u00edndice ol\u00edmpico. Um emocionante \u00edndice, diga-se de passagem, protagonizado por Rodrigo Castro que venceu os 200m livre com 1min48s50 conseguindo vaga para sua terceira Olimp\u00edada e comemorando demais a conquista. Diferentemente da edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2007, quando tivemos um solit\u00e1rio \u00edndice, desta vez sa\u00edram cinco marcas para a Olimp\u00edada londrina, com Jo\u00e3o Luiz J\u00fanior nos 100m peito (1min00s40), Nicolas Oliveira nos 100m livre (48s71), Henrique Rodrigues nos 200m medley (1min59s79), Graciele Herrmann nos 50m livre (25s12) e Joanna Maranh\u00e3o nos 400m medley (4min40s79).<\/p>\n<p>Desta vez a expectativa \u00e9 para que um n\u00famero maior de marcas seja atingido, principalmente pelo fato dos nadadores terem apenas duas chances para faz\u00ea-lo. Um vacilo ou uma prova mal nadada neste Open podem dificultar a vida e colocar ainda mais press\u00e3o nos candidatos a membros da equipe do Rio-2016 que ter\u00e3o a oportunidade derradeira no Maria Lenk ano que vem.
