Oitavo maior pa\u00eds do mundo em extens\u00e3o, a Argentina tem diversos locais para a pr\u00e1tica de nata\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas abertas, seja nas praias do Oceano Atl\u00e2ntico, seja nos diversos rios que cortam o pa\u00eds. Al\u00e9m do famoso Rio da Prata, que separa a Argentina e o Uruguai, existem diversos outros locais no pa\u00eds onde \u00e9 poss\u00edvel realizar eventos. Pesando nisso, um novo circuito de \u00e1guas abertas foi criado no pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

O circuito Open Water Argentina foi idealizado pela dupla de nadadores Damian Blam e Fernando Ciaramella, ambos com passagem pela sele\u00e7\u00e3o argentina e com t\u00edtulos e medalhas a n\u00edvel internacional. O evento realiza diversas etapas em diferentes locais do pa\u00eds e sempre se inicia e termina na metade ano, semelhante aos campeonatos de futebol da Europa.<\/p>\n

A temporada 2023\/24 est\u00e1 rolando e tem oito etapas. At\u00e9 o momento j\u00e1 foram disputadas cinco provas: Puerto Alto Delta, San Pedro, Vuelta del Obligado, Villa del Dique e Pinamar. Restam ainda mais tr\u00eas: Cruce del Moreno, Vuela a La Huemul e novamente Puerto Alto Delta.<\/p>\n

A competi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 como um circuito normal, com os atletas somando pontos ao longo da temporada e sendo premiados ao fim da \u00faltima prova. Por\u00e9m, para concorrer a premia\u00e7\u00e3o ao fim do circuito os nadadores precisam participar de pelo menos tr\u00eas etapas.<\/p>\n

A pr\u00f3xima prova ser\u00e1 disputada no dia 17 de fevereiro em nas \u00e1guas do Rio Negro, na tur\u00edstica regi\u00e3o de Bariloche. A etapa Cruce del Moreno ter\u00e1 tr\u00eas dist\u00e2ncias a serem percorridas com 1,8 km, 3,5 km e 10 km de percurso. Nesta etapa o uso da roupa de Neoprene ser\u00e1 obrigat\u00f3rio devido as condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n

Devido a desvaloriza\u00e7\u00e3o do Peso Argentino frente ao Real Brasileiro, os custos para arcar com inscri\u00e7\u00e3o para as etapas do circuito e dos demais desafios da OWA s\u00e3o vantajosos para os nadadores brasileiros. As inscri\u00e7\u00f5es para as provas variam de R$ 150 a R$ 300 de acordo com a dist\u00e2ncia a ser percorrida.<\/p>\n
