Ele estava fazendo um exerc\u00edcio que consistia em subir o degrau de uma arquibancada com apoio em um dos p\u00e9s. O atleta em quest\u00e3o apresentava um padr\u00e3o de movimento discrepante para conseguir subir o degrau. Ele projetava o tronco para frente e o quadril movia-se na dire\u00e7\u00e3o oposta \u00e0 perna de apoio, este padr\u00e3o de movimentos evidenciou uma fraqueza dos m\u00fasculos posteriores, como o gl\u00fateo m\u00e1ximo e os isquiotibiais.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o estou aqui para falar de anatomia, mas \u00e9 importante que os atletas saibam da import\u00e2ncia desses m\u00fasculos para o bom desempenho na nata\u00e7\u00e3o. Em primeiro lugar, os m\u00fasculos posteriores do membro inferior s\u00e3o fundamentais para uma boa sa\u00edda. Quando o atleta se posiciona no bloco de partida a perna posterior funciona<br \/>\ncomo uma mola, armazenando energia que ser\u00e1 dissipada na hora do salto projetando o atleta para frente. Se os gl\u00fateos n\u00e3o est\u00e3o devidamente fortalecidos, as pernas tendem a ficar mais baixas, o que provoca maior arrasto e consequentemente maior gasto de energia para nadar. Al\u00e9m disso, eles ajudam a proteger a coluna lombar, pois diminuem a sobrecarga sobre os m\u00fasculos dessa regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Investir no fortalecimento dos m\u00fasculos gl\u00fateos n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma op\u00e7\u00e3o, mas uma necessidade para os nadadores que almejam atingir o \u00e1pice de sua performance.
