A crioterapia, ou terapia com gelo, \u00e9 uma t\u00e9cnica eficaz para reduzir a dor, a inflama\u00e7\u00e3o e o incha\u00e7o associados a diversos tipos de les\u00f5es, tanto em atletas profissionais quanto em amadores.<\/p>\n<p>Mas voc\u00ea sabia que a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o errada pode at\u00e9 causar queimaduras na pele ? Vasoconstri\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nO gelo provoca a constri\u00e7\u00e3o dos vasos sangu\u00edneos na \u00e1rea lesionada, o que diminui o fluxo<br \/>\nsangu\u00edneo e, consequentemente, a quantidade de c\u00e9lulas inflamat\u00f3rias e de l\u00edquido que se<br \/>\nacumulam no local. Isso ajuda a reduzir o incha\u00e7o e a dor.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2. Efeito anti-inflamat\u00f3rio<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nO gelo ajuda a reduzir a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de mediadores da inflama\u00e7\u00e3o. O gelo deve ser aplicado o mais r\u00e1pido poss\u00edvel ap\u00f3s a les\u00e3o. Tendo um efeito somente nas primeiras 72 hs ap\u00f3s a les\u00e3o, a chamada fase aguda.
