A nata\u00e7\u00e3o paral\u00edmpica do Brasil perdeu uma de suas figuras mais carism\u00e1ticas e queridas. Joaninha, a \u201cgigante\u201d Joana Neves nos deixou nesta madrugada em S\u00e3o Paulo onde estava fazendo exames m\u00e9dicos.<\/p>\n

Aos 37 anos de idade, Joana Maria Jaciara da Silva Neves Eus\u00e9bio, nasceu em Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, onde iniciou na nata\u00e7\u00e3o. Com baixa estatura, a nata\u00e7\u00e3o veio por recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica aos 10 anos de idade e apenas quatro anos depois ela j\u00e1 estava na sua primeira competi\u00e7\u00e3o internacional.<\/p>\n

Esteve em tr\u00eas edi\u00e7\u00f5es dos Jogos Paral\u00edmpicos, Londres 2012, Rio 2016 e T\u00f3quio 2020, ganhando medalhas em todas elas. S\u00e3o cinco medalhas paral\u00edmpicas, duas prats e tr\u00eas bronzes. Em Campeonatos Mundiais, 11 medalhas, 2 ouros, 2 pratas e 7 bronzes.<\/p>\n

Em 2015, ao vencer a prova dos 50m nado livre classe S5 no Mundial de Glasgow se tornou na primeira mulher da nata\u00e7\u00e3o paral\u00edmpica do Brasil a se sagrar campe\u00e3 mundial.<\/p>\n
