Neste final de semana, atletas de 15 pa\u00edses incluindo tr\u00eas brasileiros, caem na \u00e1gua para a disputa da etapa de abertura da Copa do Mundo de \u00c1guas Abertas. \u00c9 o Festival Aqu\u00e1tico de Soma Bay, no Egito, que tem as provas de 10 quil\u00f4metros no s\u00e1bado e o revezamento 4×1500 metros no domingo. Provas de nado art\u00edstico e polo aqu\u00e1tico ainda ser\u00e3o disputadas nas pr\u00f3ximas semanas.<\/p>\n
Ana Marcela Cunha e Viviane Jungblut, as duas brasileiras j\u00e1 classificadas para os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos de Paris, junto com Matheus Melecchi, \u00e9 o grupo que representa o pa\u00eds na disputa.<\/p>\n

Soma Bay \u00e9 a primeira das cinco etapas previstas para a Copa do Mundo de \u00c1guas Abertas que ainda ter\u00e1 provas no Golfo de Aranci, na It\u00e1lia, Set\u00fabal, em Portugal, Hong Kong e a etapa de encerramento em Eilat, Israel. Esta \u00faltima ainda sem data confirmada.<\/p>\n
Este \u00e9 o segundo ano consecutivo que Soma Bay recebe uma etapa da Copa do Mundo de \u00c1guas Abertas. A prova marcou o retorno de Ana Marcela no ano passado afastada desde a cirurgia feita em Novembro de 2022. No evento de 2023, Ana Marcela ficou em terceiro lugar, Viviane foi quinta colocada.
