Muitos acreditam que por serem atletas e por terem na rotina uma pr\u00e1tica de atividades f\u00edsicas acima da m\u00e9dia, isto lhes confere uma certa \u201cimunidade\u201d em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas. N\u00e3o \u00e9 verdade!<\/p>\n<p>Mas calma, j\u00e1 est\u00e1 muito bem estabelecido pela ci\u00eancia que a pr\u00e1tica de atividades f\u00edsicas \u00e9 um fator importante para reduzir a preval\u00eancia de doen\u00e7as cr\u00f4nicas. As diretrizes atuais para atividade f\u00edsica afirmam que 150 minutos de exerc\u00edcio moderado ou 75 minutos de exerc\u00edcio intenso por semana leva a benef\u00edcios substanciais para a sa\u00fade. A primeira \u00e9 que em adultos na faixa dos 35-40 anos podem ter problemas card\u00edacos n\u00e3o diagnosticados, o que pode levar a eventos graves e at\u00e9 a morte s\u00fabita. Outro ponto relevante \u00e9 que com o passar da idade algumas altera\u00e7\u00f5es fisiol\u00f3gicas acontecem a n\u00edvel card\u00edaco.<\/p>\n<p>Associado a isso, o esporte de alta intensidade, principalmente as atividades que envolvem resist\u00eancia f\u00edsica (maratona aqu\u00e1tica, triathlon, maratonas, etc) tamb\u00e9m podem predispor o surgimento de altera\u00e7\u00f5es no cora\u00e7\u00e3o.
