A Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela tem mais um nadador ol\u00edmpico confirmado para a edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste ano. Medalhista de bronze em T\u00f3quio-2020 na prova dos 200m livre, Fernando Scheffer \u00e9 mais um atleta de destaque a se aventurar em uma das principais provas de \u00e1guas abertas do Brasil, que acontece dia 10 de novembro no litoral norte paulista.<\/p>\n

O nadador, que faz parte do time Mormaii, \u00e9 especialista em eventos de piscina. Sua principal prova \u00e9 sem d\u00favida os 200m livre, onde foi medalhista de bronze nos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos de T\u00f3quio, campe\u00e3o pan-americano nos Jogos de Lima-2019 e det\u00e9m os fort\u00edssimos recordes sul-americanos de 1min44s66 em piscina longa (feitos na final ol\u00edmpica) e 1min41s32 na curta (feitos no Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel de 2022). Por\u00e9m, Scheffer tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 um \u00f3timo nadador de dist\u00e2ncias mais longas.<\/p>\n

Nos 400m livre, Scheffer j\u00e1 foi recordista sul-americano entre os anos de 2018 e 2019 com o tempo de 3min49s06 e medalhista de prata nos Jogos Pan-Americanos de Lima-2019. Ele tamb\u00e9m tem um bom retrospecto nos 800m livre, sendo figura constante na prova em campeonatos de n\u00edvel nacional. O atleta \u00e9 conhecido por ter uma \u00f3tima t\u00e9cnica de nado e tem um dos melhores endurances da nata\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira, que faz com que ele possa desafiar nadadores mais experientes em \u00e1guas abertas na travessia que tem 3,8 km de percurso.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeu intuito em nadar a Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela \u00e9 pura divers\u00e3o, pois meu foco s\u00e3o os 200m e 400m livre na piscina. Mas ser\u00e1 muito legal pode disputar uma prova diferente e t\u00e3o especial. Ser\u00e1 uma oportunidade para me testar nas \u00e1guas abertas e ainda curtir o evento com todo o Time Mormaii\u201d, afirmou o medalhista ol\u00edmpico que \u00e9 patrocinado pela marca esportiva desde o ano passado.<\/p>\n
