No entanto, na grande maioria dos casos a queixa do atleta \u00e9 em apenas um dos ombros embora os dois sejam submetidos \u00e0 mesma carga de treinos. Por que isso acontece?<\/p>\n<p>O primeiro ponto \u00e9 que nadadores sofrem altera\u00e7\u00f5es morfol\u00f3gicas na regi\u00e3o dos ombros devido ao treinamento que exige da articula\u00e7\u00e3o um movimento de grande amplitude, que envolve for\u00e7a consider\u00e1vel e ainda \u00e9 repetido milhares de vezes. Essas altera\u00e7\u00f5es incluem espessamento de tend\u00f5es e ligamentos, altera\u00e7\u00f5es na c\u00e1psula articular e desequil\u00edbrios mec\u00e2nicos, a este conjunto \u00e9 dado o nome de ombro de nadador.<\/p>\n<p>Somado a isso temos fatores n\u00e3o necessariamente ligados \u00e0 nata\u00e7\u00e3o, mas que contribuem para o aparecimento de dores e les\u00f5es. Esses fatores podem ser intr\u00ednsecos, ou seja, relacionados ao pr\u00f3prio atleta, como: altera\u00e7\u00f5es anat\u00f4micas, desequil\u00edbrios musculares, assimetrias, erros de t\u00e9cnica. Mas por que, se os dois ombros s\u00e3o submetidos \u00e0 mesma carga de treinamento, a dor se concentra em apenas um lado?<\/p>\n<p><strong>O Ombro do Nadador: Uma Adapta\u00e7\u00e3o e um Desafio<\/strong><br \/>\nOs movimentos da nata\u00e7\u00e3o promovem altera\u00e7\u00f5es morfofisiol\u00f3gicas nos tecidos ao redor do ombro. Tend\u00f5es, ligamentos e c\u00e1psula articular se adaptam a essa exig\u00eancia, resultando em um conjunto de caracter\u00edsticas conhecido como \u201combro de nadador\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por que a dor se concentra em um lado s\u00f3?<\/strong><br \/>\nA dor em apenas um dos ombros de nadadores pode ter diversas causas, incluindo:<br \/>\n<em><strong>\u25cf Fatores intr\u00ednsecos:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Altera\u00e7\u00f5es anat\u00f4micas: Pequenas diferen\u00e7as na estrutura \u00f3ssea ou na inser\u00e7\u00e3o dos m\u00fasculos podem predispor um ombro a les\u00f5es.<\/li>\n<li>Desequil\u00edbrios musculares: For\u00e7a desigual entre os m\u00fasculos do ombro podem sobrecarregar um lado mais que o outro.<\/li>\n<li>Assimetrias: Discrep\u00e2ncias na flexibilidade ou amplitude de movimento entre os ombros podem levar a compensa\u00e7\u00f5es e sobrecargas.<\/li>\n<li>Erros de t\u00e9cnica: Pequenas diferen\u00e7as na t\u00e9cnica de nado podem sobrecarregar um lado mais que o outro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>\u25cf Fatores extr\u00ednsecos:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Atividades laborais: Profiss\u00f5es que exigem movimentos repetitivos ou posturas inadequadas podem agravar as les\u00f5es no ombro.
