Seguindo sempre as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es do pr\u00f3prio clube, cresceu de maneira constante no cen\u00e1rio nacional e n\u00e3o ficou muito longe de conquistar uma vaga para os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos do Rio-2016, na \u00e9poca, com apenas 17 anos.<\/p>\n<p>Na virada do pr\u00f3ximo ciclo ol\u00edmpico, mudou-se para Belo Horizonte, e passou a defender o Minas Tenis Clube. Com forte desempenho nos campeonatos nacionais e Jogos Pan-Americanos, continuou melhorando seus tempos nas provas de 200m e 400m livre sempre evoluindo no ranking mundial, um marco nesta trajet\u00f3ria, foi o recorde mundial do revezamento 4x200m livre em piscina de 25 metros.<\/p>\n<p>No auge da carreira, com foco nos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos de T\u00f3quio-2020 teve que superar um ano de pandemia, estendendo seu ciclo at\u00e9 o ano de 2021. Nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, sempre seguindo o programa interno de seu clube, com muita confian\u00e7a e dedica\u00e7\u00e3o, conquistou a hist\u00f3rica medalha de bronze nos 200m livre com o tempo de 1min44s66, marca que \u00e9 recorde sul-americano at\u00e9 hoje.<\/p>\n<p>Mantendo a programa\u00e7\u00e3o do Minas TC, Scheffer conseguiu novamente a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o ol\u00edmpica para os Jogos de Paris-2024.
