O nadador Alexandre Finco, atual campe\u00e3o do Canal de Ilhabela, est\u00e1 confirmado na edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste ano da tradicional travessia. Atleta experiente nas \u00e1guas abertas, ele j\u00e1 disputou a prova tr\u00eas vezes, conquistando dois t\u00edtulos e um vice-campeonato, e chega para defender mais uma vez seu lugar entre os melhores.<\/p>\n

Finco destaca a conex\u00e3o especial que tem com o evento.\u201cA minha expectativa sobre o evento \u00e9 a melhor poss\u00edvel. Eu sou um grande f\u00e3 da prova do Canal de Ilhabela, comecei em 2021, j\u00e1 participei tr\u00eas vezes, ganhei duas e fui vice-campe\u00e3o em outra edi\u00e7\u00e3o. Adoro o clima, estar l\u00e1 com a fam\u00edlia Mormaii e com outros atletas. \u00c9 sempre um final de semana muito especial\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n

Em 2025, o atleta vive uma fase diferente da carreira. Representando o Ex\u00e9rcito Brasileiro, Finco optou por direcionar sua prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para competi\u00e7\u00f5es de Life Saving, modalidade que simula situa\u00e7\u00f5es de salvamento no mar e que vem crescendo no pa\u00eds. Ainda assim, ele segue competitivo nas provas de nata\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

Neste ano, venceu os 4 km da Copa Brasil em Itaja\u00ed (SC), al\u00e9m de triunfar em uma disputa de nata\u00e7\u00e3o no campeonato catarinense de Life Saving. Entre seus resultados mais recentes, tamb\u00e9m figuram o terceiro lugar no Campeonato Brasileiro de 2024 e finais em grandes eventos da nata\u00e7\u00e3o nacional, como o Trof\u00e9u Brasil e Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel.<\/p>\n

Apesar do hist\u00f3rico vencedor, Finco faz quest\u00e3o de destacar que sua motiva\u00e7\u00e3o principal em Ilhabela vai al\u00e9m dos resultados.\u00a0\u201cVenho para defender meu t\u00edtulo, sei que vou estar entre os primeiros colocados e vou disputar a prova, mas o mais importante \u00e9 curtir o evento como um todo. Muitas vezes a gente fica t\u00e3o focado em competir e ganhar que n\u00e3o consegue aproveitar tanto. No Canal de Ilhabela \u00e9 diferente: a prova nos d\u00e1 essa possibilidade de viver o evento, a energia do lugar e das pessoas.\u201d, contou.<\/p>\n
