Incialmente ocorrem baterias eliminat\u00f3rias e os nove nadadores mais velozes dentro de suas respectivas faixas et\u00e1rias, avan\u00e7am a final.<\/p>\n

Nas finais, um dos nadadores convidados compete contra os amadores, gerando uma oportunidade \u00fanica para atletas que sempre sonharam em competir contra \u00eddolos internacionais, Um destaque curioso \u00e9 que a largada \u00e9 proporcional a idade\/ritmo dos amadores.
