ISL, a Liga Internacional da Nata\u00e7\u00e3o, processou a World Aquatics alegando ter sido prejudicada pelo boicote organizada pela ent\u00e3o FINA no ano de 2018. Na \u00e9poca, a competi\u00e7\u00e3o inaugural da Liga foi cancelada gerando este processo que foi julgado esta semana.<\/p>\n

Em oito dias de julgamento, a justi\u00e7a americana entendeu que a ISL tinha raz\u00f5es nas suas alega\u00e7\u00f5es, mas a causa lhe deu apenas um simb\u00f3lico valor de 1 d\u00f3lar. No processo movido pela ISL se falava em 41 milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n

A decis\u00e3o, mesmo que \u201ccontr\u00e1ria\u201d, foi comemorada pela World Aquatics atrav\u00e9s de seu presidente Husain Al-Musallam em nota publicada no site oficial da entidade. A World Aquatics tamb\u00e9m \u201calfinetou\u201d a ISL dizendo que a liga n\u00e3o pode voltar a operar enquanto \u201cn\u00e3o pagar os mais de 7 milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares em d\u00e9bito com os nadadores\u201d.<\/p>\n

A d\u00edvida da ISL com os atletas se mant\u00e9m desde 2022 e h\u00e1 algumas semanas chegou-se a comentar a poss\u00edvel volta da Liga e tamb\u00e9m os prov\u00e1veis pagamentos, mas ao que tudo indica se contava com uma poss\u00edvel vit\u00f3ria jur\u00eddica, que veio, mas sem compensa\u00e7\u00f5es financeiras.<\/p>\n

A verdade \u00e9 uma s\u00f3: a ISL, na sua ess\u00eancia foi um grande fracasso, comprometendo um sistema onde nadadores s\u00e3o mal pagos, pouco valorizados e um esporte que carece de visibilidade.<\/p>\n
