Em janeiro deste ano, a World Aquatics realizou uma nova atividade do projeto Future Wave, desenvolvido pelo Comit\u00ea Ol\u00edmpico Internacional (COI) atrav\u00e9s da iniciativa Solidariedade Ol\u00edmpica, World Aquatics e Africa Aquatics. O programa \u00e9 voltado para jovens atletas de 14 a 16 anos e seus treinadores, e a \u00faltima a\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto contou com uma sess\u00e3o virtual com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 40 pessoas de diferentes pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

Esta a\u00e7\u00e3o online focou exclusivamente no desenvolvimento de longo prazo de atletas do continente africano e discutiu diversas tem\u00e1ticas visando melhorias e avan\u00e7os da modalidade no continente. As sess\u00f5es online contaram com depoimentos pessoais de nadadores e atividades interativas para incentivar os participantes a aprenderem juntos.<\/p>\n

A atividade contou a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do bicampe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico <\/span>Anthony Ervin, que falou <\/span>sobre sa\u00fade mental e bem-estar, compartilhando experi\u00eancias pessoais ao longo de sua vida. O projeto Future Wave tamb\u00e9m faz parte das iniciativas visando os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos da Juventude de Dakar-2026.
