Aos 34 anos de idade, depois de se tornar uma das maiores vitoriosas nadadoras de \u00e1guas abertas da hist\u00f3ria, Ana Marcela escolheu para ser este o desafio da temporada.<\/p>\n

O resultado supera n\u00e3o s\u00f3 o recorde sul-americano de Ana do Amaral Mesquita de 9 horas e 40 minutos de 1993 como at\u00e9 a marca masculina pertencente a Adherbal Treidler que fez a prova em 8 horas e 49 minutos em 2015, fazendo da campe\u00e3 ol\u00edmpica a mais r\u00e1pida da hist\u00f3ria do Brasil a obter o feito.<\/p>\n

Com Igor de Souza de guia acompanhada por seu staff no barco Sea Leopard, Ana Marcela conseguiu o melhor tempo da prova, entre homens e mulheres desde 2022. Desde 7 de Agosto daquele ano, quando o escoc\u00eas Andrew Donaldson fez a prova em 8 horas e 00 minuto. Detalhe que Donaldson tamb\u00e9m foi acompanhado pelo mesmo barco, Sea Leopard, e mesmo piloto Stuart Gleeson que esteve com Ana Marcela na prova de hoje.<\/p>\n

Enquanto as condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas eram as melhores poss\u00edveis, a \u00e1gua estava em 19 graus Celsius, as fortes correntes mar\u00edtimas acabaram sendo o maior desafio de Ana Marcela. As correntes acabaram por alterar a sua rota na parte final da prova que foi conclu\u00edda com sucesso.<\/p>\n

Treinada por Rog\u00e9rio Karfunkelstein desde o ano passado, Ana Marcela fez todo o primeiro semestre focada neste projeto. No seu retorno ao Brasil deve voltar aos treinamentos para a temporada de \u00e1guas abertas e j\u00e1 est\u00e1 convocada para representar o Brasil na prova dos 10 quil\u00f4metros dos Jogos ODESUR que ser\u00e3o classificat\u00f3rios para os Jogos Pan-Americanos de Lima.<\/p>\n
