Realizado com sucesso desde 2009, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, o Desafio Rei e Rainha do Mar atravessa a ponte a\u00e9rea e desembarca nas \u00e1guas do litoral paulista. No dia 1\u00ba de maio, feriado do Dia do Trabalho, a Praia de Toninhas, em Ubatuba, ser\u00e1 o palco da etapa paulista do famoso circuito de \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ser\u00e3o ao todo tr\u00eas provas: Sprint, Classic e Challenge. A Sprint \u00e9 um tiro r\u00e1pido de 1 km na \u00e1gua e muitos atletas que nadam a prova mais longa a utilizam como aquecimento e para sentir como esta a \u00e1gua. O Classic \u00e9 uma prova intermedi\u00e1ria, com uma dist\u00e2ncia de 2 km e utilizada principalmente por atletas que visam se preparar para um dia encarar a prova mais longa, que \u00e9 o Challenge. Neste, que \u00e9 o principal evento, os atletas nadam 4 km.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O local escolhido para ser palco desta etapa \u00e9 famoso pela tranquilidade e sossego. A Praia de Toninhas esta localizada pr\u00f3xima do centro urbano de Ubatuba e \u00e9 conhecida tamb\u00e9m pela sua beleza natural, longa faixa de areia e por ser um \u00f3timo destino para a pr\u00e1tica do surf. O Beach Run ter\u00e1 provas de corrida na areia de 2 km e 4 km, o Beach Biathlon conta com percursos de 1 km de nata\u00e7\u00e3o no mar combinado com uma corrida na areia de 2 km e o Stand Up Paddle onde os atletas v\u00e3o remar por 2 km, 4 km e 8 km nas \u00e1guas da Praia de Toninhas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O Rei e Rainha do Mar \u00e9 disputado ininterruptamente desde 2009 na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Em 2010 houve uma etapa internacional em Portugal e no ano passado o circuito se expandiu realizando etapas em Florian\u00f3polis e Fortaleza. Este ano j\u00e1 tivemos uma etapa semana passada no Rio de Janeiro e j\u00e1 esta confirmada uma etapa em Salvador.
