Nadar de uma ilha ao continente \u00e9 um objetivo que muitos nadadores sonham em poder realizar. Trata-se de um feito que misura adrenalina, esfor\u00e7o f\u00edsico e satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o. Quem um dia pensou em realizar alguma aventura desse tipo poder\u00e1 faz\u00ea-la no dia 11 de novembro no belo litoral de Angra dos Reis, no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Trata-se da Fuga da Ilha Grande, uma ultramaratona com 12,5 km promovida pela Maratona Aqu\u00e1tica Sem Fronteiras (MASF) e que faz parte do calend\u00e1rio de eventos especiais da entidade.<\/p>\n

Como o nome j\u00e1 diz a prova consiste em “fugir” de um ponto a outro. \u00c9 uma travessia\u00a0similar a outras provas como a Fuga das Ilhas e a Fuga de Alcatraz. Aqui os nadadores largar\u00e3o em frente a Pousada Nautilus, na Ilha Grande, e nadar\u00e3o rumo ao continente acompanhados de um lindo visual com as belezas da regi\u00e3o de Angra dos Reis. Ao todo os participantes v\u00e3o encarar 12,5 km e poder\u00e3o chegar em dois pontos no continente:\u00a0no Col\u00e9gio Naval ou na Praia do Bonfim.\u00a0Por medidas de estrutura e seguran\u00e7a, a prova ser\u00e1 imitada a 50 atletas amadores com idade acima de 18 anos.<\/p>\n

A Ilha Grande \u00e9 a maior ilha do estado do Rio de Janeiro e uma das maiores do Brasil. Ela tem \u00e1rea total de 193 km\u00b2, com muitas eleva\u00e7\u00f5es e montanhas como o famoso\u00a0Pico do Papagaio que tem altura de 982 metros. O litoral da ilha ainda conta com muitas pen\u00ednsulas e enseadas que formam v\u00e1rias praias. Com vasta \u00e1rea verde, a vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o da ilha \u00e9 composta pela flora da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica. Trata-se de um local muito procurado por turistas em busca de sossego e surfistas atr\u00e1s de boas ondas. A Ilha Grande tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 o lar de muitos pescadores que vivem em vilarejos da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Lembrando que a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da prova exige a presen\u00e7a de um caiaqueiro acompanhando o atleta durante todo o percurso e que pode alterar o percurso e at\u00e9 cancelar a prova em caso de mudan\u00e7a radical nas condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas priorizando a seguran\u00e7a dos atletas.
