Ser\u00e1 l\u00e1 o local da edi\u00e7\u00e3o 2018 do Desafios Aquaman.<\/p>\n<p>Idealizado pela dupla de ultramaratonistas aqu\u00e1ticos Samir Barel, de Campinas, e Marcos Campos, de Taubat\u00e9, o desafio em \u00e1guas abertas vem crescendo a cada edi\u00e7\u00e3o atraindo novos adeptos da modalidade. Para este ano a expectativa dos organizadores \u00e9 atingir entre 800 e 1000 atletas, n\u00famero expressivo e que a coloca como uma das principais provas do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de fomentar a nata\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas abertas o evento tem como miss\u00e3o e objetivo buscar valorizar o meio ambiente, levando centenas de nadadores a locais de abundante beleza natural, caso da Praia da Cocanha. A prova curta ter\u00e1 1,5 km de dist\u00e2ncia, a m\u00e9dia conta com 3,5 km e a prova longa, a principal do programa, ser\u00e1 de 7 km. Em todos estes percursos os atletas largam e finalizam as provas na Praia da Cocanha nadando sempre em sentido hor\u00e1rio. Vale ressaltar que na prova de 7 km os atletas tem ponto de hidrata\u00e7\u00e3o na Ilha do Tamandu\u00e1 (aproximadamente localizada na metade do percurso).<\/p>\n<p>Haver\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a Travessinha, uma prova especial e destinada ao p\u00fablico infantil com 200m de dist\u00e2ncia (veja mais detalhes no mapa de percurso na galeria de fotos nesta p\u00e1gina).<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m das medalhas de participa\u00e7\u00e3o para todos que se inscreverem, os melhores colocados no ranking geral e por categoria receber\u00e3o premia\u00e7\u00e3o especial.
